Dale D'Alessio

 

Dale is one of the worlds leading experts in the provision of advanced technical services and solutions particularly in the area of communication systems. His extensive experience has taken him as far as the White House where his largest and most successful project was in support of the White House Communication's Agency (WHCA). The project provided worldwide communications support for the President and Vice President of the United States. In addition, Dale's position as Executive Vice President at Morgan Franklin Corporation meant that he was responsible for the provision of a complete IT and communication solution for all eight world leaders at the 2004 G8 Summit. During his career, Dale has been an executive and founder of several high tech companies in the areas of telecommunications, computer networking, and government support services. His accomplishments include the Co-Founding of networking giant Microdyne Corporation in 1985 and his role as Chief Executive of iSoft Corporation, an Internet based billing and eCRM application company. During his career he has successfully structured agreements with the likes of BT, Unisys, HP, France Telecom and BellSouth.

Terry

Terry Austin

 

Terry has over 25 years experience at a senior level within a range of industries. Most recently Terry has established his own management consultancy drawing on his vast knowledge of areas such as outsourcing of IT services, systems architecture, IPTV, organisation design and operations.  Prior to that he gained extensive practical experience of the Interactive TV marketplace whilst working as Technology Director at Quadriga Worldwide Ltd, the largest supplier of interactive TV systems to the hospitality market across 30 countries in EMEA.  Terry was responsible for the design and development of a suite of services and new interactive TV products based on IP technology including a basic digital media server, a fully integrated digital infotainment product, integrated set-top box, IP switched network (multicast & unicast) and a central coordination and remote diagnostic support system based on SNMP. Terry has a first class honours degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and an MBA from Henley Management College.

Jim Roach

Professor Jim Roach

 

Professor Jim Roach is currently Head of Electronics and Technology Transfer at Bournemouth University. Jim is a recognised thought leader in Europe in the area of broadband connectivity and convergent technologies and has been published extensively over the last 20 years. Most recently, in 2004 he was awarded a personal chair in recognition of his achievements in his professional field and in 2001 Jim was awarded one of only twelve National Business Fellowships in recognition of his work between industry and academia.  He has contributed as a partner to the TEMPUS programme in Electronic Design with Ostende University, Hull University and the Universities of Prague, Brno and Bratislava as well as being a special advisor to the Czech Republic. Jim brings value to eXstream networks by looking over the horizon of emerging broadband technologies from an academic and commercial perspective, as well as giving the business access to the freshness of thought derived from Bournemouth University's post graduate students, recognised in Europe as being one of the premiere talent pools for new media creatives and technologists.

Richard Palmer

Richard Palmer

Richard has 35 years' experience at Board level including both Executive and non-Executive roles. In the early nineties through to the current day Richard has provided consultancy and performed a number of company "doctor" roles for SME businesses up to a turnover of £50 million.  In parallel, Richard has developed a "vision" for sport which is designed to maximise revenue streams from the entire affinity fan base of the sports clubs and not just those who attend the stadia.  The vision is based upon CRM database and marketing solutions supported by contact centre and state-of-the-art card technology.  Convergent Media is a key part of the vision and as a result Richard has expertise and knowledge of IPTV and VOIP technology in Canada, the USA and the UK as well as a range of digital and ambient media products and solutions.  He is currently working both in the UK and the USA with a number of Leagues and individual clubs as well as relationships with multi-nationals such as Philips, Siemens and Dimension Data.
