The Government's CCTV Initiative, an extension of the Crime Reduction Programme, aims to deploy CCTV in areas where there are significant crime and disorder problems and where crime hotspots or levels of disorder are having an adverse effect on the local community.

| Better still, the camera's are portable and can be relocated within approximately two weeks around local 'trouble hotspots' depending upon where they are required. They can provide images that are broadcast quality and acceptable for criminal prosecution purposes. |
